How quickly does CobraZol work?
Generally, you will feel some relief within the first hour of application, and it will increase with time over the next 6-12 hours. You can repeat the application as necessary. CobraZol drug study participants have noted that cumulative use over a few days to weeks can have lasting relief for days and even weeks after applications.*

Does CobraZol require a prescription?
No. CobraZol is an FDA-registered homeopathic pain reliever and a prescription is not required to use it.*

You state that CobraZol and certain snake venoms are monographed homeopathic drugs. What does "homeopathic" or "homeopathy" mean?
Homeopathic Remedies are based on an integrated approach to health and well-being that addresses specific illnesses by stimulating the body's own ability to heal. Homeopathy is based on a medical system established in Europe and has been in use in the United States since the late 19th century. Homeopathy is also based on the principle of "like treats like" or the "Law of Similars", which states that if an herb, extract, or other natural substance is consumed in a large quantity and a specific set of symptoms occurs, then that same ingredient in micro-doses will stimulate the body to fight against those exact symptoms, thereby healing the body. The premise of homeopathic medicine is similar to that of getting a vaccination; whereby a minute amount of medicine or vaccine is introduced to the body, thereby stimulating a healing response from the body. Homeopathic remedies are used to heal the symptoms of an affliction; in contrast, vaccination is used to cure or mitigate a disease.*

Can you give me an example of homeopathy?
For an example of homeopathic practice; red onions (Allium cepa) can make your eyes water, and give you a runny nose, sneezing, and even an itchy throat after cutting them. Therefore, red onion(Allium cepa) is often used as a homeopathic remedy in very dilute homeopathic potency to combat these same symptoms stemming from mild allergies, coughing runny nose, or even the common cold. In the case of CobraZol, the venoms in the ingredients are so dilute that they are no longer toxic but can target specific pain receptors to treat pain.*

At such a dilute amount, how can it be strong enough to work effectively as a pain blocker?
The snake venoms used in our products are extremely dilute but are enough for you to receive the full benefits of their pain and inflammation-reducing properties, without harm to you.*

Which snake venoms are used in CobraZol?
After several years of research, we discovered that the synergy along with the transdermal delivery system of all three snake venoms provides faster and longer pain relief than any other Cobra venom-based product. The snake venoms used are from the Indian Cobra (Naja naja), South American Bushmaster (Lachesis Muta), the Amazon, and the American Timber Rattlesnake (Crotalus Horridus). CobraZol is a patent-pending formula.*

How are the snake venoms procured?
Each venom is humanely "milked" from a live snake. In the case of the South America Bushmaster, the largest pit-viper in the world, the snake is caught in the Amazonian wild, milked, and subsequently released as this species of snake, the Lachesis Muta does not do well in captivity. All other venoms are procured from humanely milking by reputable herpetariums.*

During the venom extraction process, are the snakes harmed in any way?
Not at all. Each snake is carefully handled and fed a proper diet, and cared for by a Ph.D. and master's degree herpetologist (a person who has a degree in studying all forms of reptiles and amphibians) at zoos around the United States. In the case of the South American Bushmaster, the snakes are caught in the Amazonian wild and milked on-site, then released back to the wild as history has shown they do not fare well in captivity. This makes the Bushmaster venom VERY rare and difficult to procure. These herpetologists are trained in the proper art of safely milking snakes for their venom without harming the snake in any way.*

What exactly is a neurotoxin?
A neurotoxin is simply a compound that can have an effect on the nervous system.*

Does CobraZol have side effects?
To date, there have not been any reported side effects of using CobraZol. The dilutions of venoms are such that there are very slight amounts of venom in the product, however, it is proven to be safe and effective at helping relieve the symptoms of pain.*

Snake venoms have amino acids, proteins, and peptides. What exactly is a peptide?
A peptide, comprised of two or more amino acids, is a standard term for a small protein or a piece of a larger protein. Snake venoms, specifically the ones used in our patent-pending formulation, contain numerous quantities of these small proteins. They have highly specific receptor-binding characteristics that are valuable in treating the symptoms of pain.*
