I started using the product but the skin is flaking and I am not sure it is getting to the Molluscum bump anymore. What can I do?
If you feel the flaking skin is preventing you from getting the product to the Molluscum bumps, gently rub away the flaking skin with a very fine nail file or emery board.
Take care not to break open the bumps or cause the Molluscum to bleed; Only gently remove the tiny bits of flaked skin.
Once the bumps are mostly clear of the flaking skin, clean the area with hydrogen peroxide and continue to use the product.

This Product Does Work
"We tried quite a few different remedies and this product paired with the Margo neem soap is the only thing that worked for us! I will say it definitely gets worse before it gets better so don’t get discouraged if the bumps start to look nasty after a few weeks. Keep up with it daily and avoid baths. I recommend!!!!

"I have never written a review in my LIFE, but as a concerned parent, I feel like I should share my experience.
After trying out 11 other products I finally found my answer!!! I felt like I have tried it ALL! Band-aid patches, creams, ointments, special soaps all itched excessively, burned A LOT, and created heart-filled tears! I struggled for a year in looking for a solution for my 5-year-old son’s pesky Molluscum. Doctors just told me to wait it out but we had been waiting for 2 years. I had to do something for him to gain back his confidence in wearing shorts.
I regret not taking pictures but this stuff works!!! I put it on my 5-year-old son at the time. No burning, no irritation, just please BE CONSISTENT on applying 3x a day on every little dot, every day. I started seeing results in as little as a week! "Our ped said my son's molluscum should resolve within a few years. That may have been fine if it didn't spread, though that was a little upsetting when it went from just being just a few on his inner elbow to being all over his trunk and on his legs, other arm and his back I knew I couldn't just let it go. We used this once every day at bedtime, and the spots that were newer cleared up within 3 weeks and didn't even need to be touched. The ones that had been there longer took almost two months to come to a head and then go away. The first one he had was the largest and the most stubborn, but it eventually gave in and went away. There's some scarring where the ones he had the longest were, so my advice is DO NOT WAIT to treat this or you risk increased scarring and longer treatment time. They develop a white head of sorts, and that's white stuff is what's contagious, so we were able to pull that out fairly easily while he was distracted so that he didn't scratch them and spread them more. I think that could have been what caused some of the scarrings, but there were some that scarred even though I didn't touch them, so it's hard to tell. I didn't want to risk spreading it even more, so we pulled the white part out and applied some pressure if it bled. It didn't seem to be painful to him. This stuff doesn't smell great, but once we put his pajamas on him, the smell wasn't as strong. I am so glad I bought this!!!!"

It Seems To Be Working
"We are on day 10 of applying the oil 3x a day on our 4yr old in the inside of her arm! We have also recently started washing the area with tea tree therapy soap as well. IT WORKS! It Really Cleared Up The Molluscum Contagiosum!
"This product is amazing! My daughter was exposed to Molluscum in August of 2016 and we saw the first 2 bumps on April 26th, 2017. After a couple of months they had multiplied all over her side, underarm, and the bend of her arm. We saw her pediatrician and were advised to let it run its course. On a 2nd visit, we tried Retin A to dry it up. No luck just caused her skin to get irritated and appear to have a burn. In Sept she had an allergic reaction on her torso and back from hay and she scratched in her sleep causing the Molluscum to spread. At that point, the pediatrician sent us to a dermatologist. After a different cream, the Molluscum itself did not get better. Unfortunately, we experienced unwanted side effects and no change in Molluscum. Toward the end of November, I decided to look on Amazon in hopes that I may find some magical treatment and I did. We were only able to use the treatment at bedtime because it had a strong odor and I did not want to send her to school like that. During Christmas & snow break we were able to apply it 2 times A-day and were successful at drying it up. It took about 6 weeks total. This medicine is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to any parent to use in the treatment of Molluscum for their child. This is the nastiest rash I have ever seen on a child personally. I know there are far worse things but it caused lots of stress and many tears in our home. It caused my child to be self-conscious and absolutely broke my heart. Finally, it's dried up and there are no active bumps. Hopefully, all signs will diminish with time. Please parents educate yourself and your child about this rash and ways to avoid spreading it on their own body and to others and use this product. "My son started off with one bump that we couldn't figure out what it was in June of 2020. It slowly spread to the rest of his back, his neck, the back of his head, and even his sides and hip. We were finally able to get a dr appointment via phone call with his Pediatrician and he had me send a picture, the one from November and confirmed it was Molluscum. He told us it would most likely go away on its own but we could possibly speed up the process with this stuff and that he doesn't normally recommend OTC off of Amazon but a lot of parents swore by it.
My husband and I took a look but due to the price, we decided to hold off for a bit and see if they would just get better on their own. About a month later his back had only gotten worse so we hesitantly bought this to see if it would help any. At first, we were doing really well about applying it 3-4 times daily but as time went on and life got the better of us we slacked off to about only once per day.
