Molluscum contagiosum is often through person-to-person contact and contact with infected objects. Though most common in children, molluscum contagiosum can also affect adults — particularly those with weakened immune systems.

Results will vary based on your situation and the severity of the case, but most subjects have been able to see improvement in 7 - 21 days.

After continuous application, you will notice that the Molluscum bumps begin to flake and shrink. This is common and is a part of the healing process.

If you feel the flaking skin is preventing you from getting the product to the Molluscum bumps, gently rub away the flaking skin with a very fine nail file or emery board.

Take care not to break open the bumps or cause the Molluscum to bleed; Only gently remove the tiny bits of flaked skin.

Once the bumps are mostly clear of the flaking skin, clean the area with hydrogen peroxide and continue to use the product.

We recommend you store all products in a cool and dry place, such as a cupboard or closet, out of direct sunlight.

Your Molluscum Contagiosum may continue to come back for a few reasons.

1. In more severe cases and significant outbreaks, the virus might need to be removed from inside and outside the body. If you find that your old bumps are beginning to fade, but new Molluscum bumps continue to pop up, you likely need to fight the virus from the inside and the outside. We recommend adding the Naturasil Immune Renew to your current Molluscum fighting regiment. *Consult your doctor before beginning any new regimen.

2. You might need to clean your surfaces in addition to your current treatment regimen. Molluscum Contagiosum originates from a virus. If you find that you rid yourself of the Molluscum bumps completely, but then they seem to come back, try to disinfect your home and high-touch areas of your home. These areas might contain the virus and cause your re-infection.
