What Are Bed Bugs?

Bed bugs are small, flat, wingless insects with six legs that, like mosquitoes, feed on blood from people or animals. They range in color from almost white to brown, but they turn rusty red after feeding. The common bed bug doesn't grow much longer than 0.2 inches (0.5 centimeters) and can be seen by the naked eye by the astute observer. Bed bugs get their name because they like to hide in the folds of the mattress or box spring. Bed bugs can also hide in floors, furniture, behind frames, in knick-knacks, curtains, in outlets... pretty much anywhere. Bed bugs feed at night and are attracted by the carbon dioxide we exhale while sleeping.

Instructions

For the treatment of bed bugs, mites, fleas, or scabies: treat the mattress with steam and/or vacuum and enclose it in a mattress cover. For best results, we recommend leaving the cover on permanently; at minimum leave it on for 2-3 weeks.

Maintain Mattress Cover: Vacuum every 10 to 14 days to capture any allergens that may have gotten on the surface; consider using a HEPA vacuum or allergen-proof vacuum bag. You can also close the zipper and machine wash the encasing once or twice a year in HOT water. Tumble dry at the LOWEST setting. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.

"These covers are really quite nice. They fit snugly but are easy to put on. How we got a bedbug problem I'll probably never know, but these covers answered and solved a problem until we finally get rid of them. The price is very competitive also."

"This product was the best that I used to get rid of the bed bugs. After purchasing and using this product, I have not seen any bed bugs. I am extremely satisfied with the product and have recommended it to my family."

The best!

"Thank you!!! You guys saved me so much money. My kid brought home bed bugs from summer camp and we were looking at a huge bill from exterminators that come to your house. We couldn't swing it, which meant we were going to have to live with bed bugs. Gross!! Bed bug patrol worked fast and it didn't smell chemically like the bug bomb I tried first. Bed bugs are gone and we can sleep and it didn't break the bank."
